The exceptional absorbency of the microfibers in the thin inner layer does what traditional fibers can't, creating a longer lasting cooling effect. The vest's three-dimensional mesh fabric directs airflow, allowing moisture to evaporate from the cooling layer. The technical, moisture-wicking knit in the lining is very comfortable even when wet. The Hurtta Cooling Vest is designed to cover the areas of your dog's body that help to cool: the chest, large blood vessels and lungs. As the blood circulates, the cooling effect of the vest spreads throughout the body, so the vest does not need to cover most of the body.
